Calvasha “Callie” Summers, M.Ed., LPC-Associate
Supervised by Bernadette P. Smith, Ed.D., LPC-S, NCC
With over a decade of experience in public education, Calvasha has dedicated her career to helping others navigate both academic and personal challenges. Her own journey of overcoming loss, grief, and adversity has shown her the power of therapy and faith, which is why she’s passionate about providing faith-based counseling to guide teens and couples toward healing.
Through educational advocacy, Callie Co. Counseling supports parents and students navigating public school concerns, including ARD’s, 504 meetings, school communication, educational documents, and other student support needs.
Calvasha holds the following certifications: School Counselor, Principal, EC-6 Generalist Teacher, Special Education Teacher, and ESL Teacher in Texas. As a former public School Counselor and Student Advisor for incarcerated individuals, she brings a wide range of expertise to our practice.
Whether through counseling or advocacy, the goal of Callie Co. Counseling is to provide a supportive space where individuals and families feel heard, informed, empowered, and equipped to move forward.
